Moving

This week we are moving our bakery to its new home at Halecat House, Witherslack, and opening a new showroom at Brackens Florists just down Lake Road (Number 50) from where we are now.

You’ll need an appointment to come and see us, but we’re keeping our phone number (015394 48204).

We will no longer be selling accessories in Bowness, but will continue to supply our Wedding and Celebration cakes from our new bakery, and we will still be hosting courses, so keep your eyes on the website.

Best Dressed Window in Bowness !!

I was contacted last week by the Windermere & Bowness Chamber of Trade to say they’d voted our Bowness shop as having the Best Dressed Christmas Window 2011! We’re delighted. Thanks to all that voted – we do try our best. This is Lea picking up the certificate from vice-chairman Paul Frain at the Chamber’s January meeting. The first thing we did the next day was empty the window and start all over again !

North West Food Lovers Festival

We took part in the North West Food Lovers Festival at Tatton Park a week or so ago and it was mad busy (hence the late blog post!).

The Friday was a steady start – probably just as well as we got the stand sorted and found our feet – but Saturday was absolutely non-stop crazy, and Sunday really busy with families. Oh, and we spotted Simon Rimmer (@simonrim) from Something For the Weekend:)

It took a day or two to recover but well worth it! A big Thank You to everyone who came.
